WANT YOUR OWN WORKSHOP??

If your organization covers my standard fee ($500) plus expenses, I will travel to your location and you can host a workshop as a fundraiser. 

 

Cost is $45 for a 3 hour workshop. 

Finding the Money Workshop.  Identifies multiple sources of grant money, teaches how to use the internet to find more sources and helps you get organized for the grant writing season.

 

Grant-Writing for Beginners Workshop.  Ideal if you have never written a grant before. Includes how to determine if your organization is ready for a grant and what other fund-raising options might be right for you.  

 

The ABCs of Federal Grant Writing Workshop.  Cost is $45 for a 3 hour class and $75 for the 6 hour version. This workshop will tell you the inside secrets of how to get a federal grant. Short workshops are overviews while the long one will walk through an actual federal RFP with detailed writing tips.

 

Community Needs Assessments.  To get funding you have to have statistics to back up your need for assistance in your community. I will show you how I do this so you can do it on your own rather than paying my company to do it for you!

Planning Your Proposal Strategy.

I will help you review RFPs (requests for proposals) to determine if you are a viable candidate. Then together we will design a timeline and outline for your proposal which will meet the evaluation criteria for success.

 

Reviewing/Editing Your Documents.
I will critique your proposals, brochures, event invitations, newsletters, direct mail letters, annual reports, and/or web site and give you valuable feedback that will strengthen their appeal. 

 

Program Evaluation.  Grants often ask for an evaluation plan. I am an experienced program reviewer and can write technical reports for you. Ask for details.  

Interest areas include almost anything in the areas of children and families and helping individuals work toward self sufficiency.  This includes experience with grants such as Healthy Marriages, Responsible Fatherhood, Abstinence Education, Drug Free Communities Support Programs, Targeted Capacity Building Programs, Job Opportunities for Low Income Individuals, HRSA Health Centers, National Corporation, Adoption Opportunities, Runaway Youth, Disabilities, Access to Care, and many more.
