Arcadian Resources offers assistance in meeting the needs of special or exceptional children and adults. Differences in ability to learn need not prevent anyone from living a positive life. We can help you look at all the possibilities and construct a plan for success. We primarily work as parent advocates but can also provide behavioral coaching services and tutoring referrals.
Services include:
· Initial Intake interview and assessment including review of all psychological, medical and school documents.
· A two-step process with a separate interview and planning session for parents.
· Individual sessions with older children and adolescents. Topics include disability awareness, personal advocacy, time management, behavioral interventions and social skills.
· IEP meeting support. We can attend and interpret what school officials are telling you and make recommendations that support you and your child.

We have experience managing difficult children. Unfortunately no matter how good a parent you are, some children just struggle with life. We know about Aspergers Syndrome, Reactive Attachment Disorder, the full spectrum of learning disorders, and dealing with substance abuse among teens. Let us listen to your story. We know that many times parents feel belittled and blamed when their kids act out. NOT HERE! Instead we try to offer practical problem solving approaches to helping you help your child.
