IT'S ALL ABOUT YOU!
OFFICE BASED SERVICES.
Arcadian Resources offers direct counseling services to clients experiencing the challenges of everyday life. There are times when having outside help can help you deal with a problem rather than continuing to struggle with bad health, confusion, indecision and personal crisis. Most services are provided free of charge to the client through employee assistance programs. Self-Pay clients are also accepted.
SOLUTION FOCUSED BRIEF THERAPY.
There are many types of therapy offered by mental health clinicians. Arcadian Resources specializes in a style that assesses the overall mental status of the client and provides short-term interventions that typically include a problem-solving approach to deal with everyday stress that happens to most people in their lives. Serious substance abuse or long term mental health issues are referred to other clinicians. The typical length of treatment is no more than SIX sessions.
IMMEDIATE CRISIS RESPONSE.
Arcadian Resources offers a unique on-site service for corporate clients to response to critial incidents such as robberies, workplace accidents, explosions, fires, workplace fatalities, down-sizings and other stressful issues which may occur at places of employment. The purpose of such interventions is to stablize the workforce and ensure that employees are able to function effectively and safely in their work environment.
ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY.
Free short-term therapy is available for sailors, soliders, marines, and airmen on active duty only. Very confidential, this is limited to no more than six sessions. Service is provided by a service disabled veteran under a special contract only for active duty service members including reserve and national guard members. Call for details.
LIFE COACHING.
A popular option for people who struggle with accomplishing goals in their lives or just want to move to the next level. Life coaching is not therapy. It is designed to help clients look at their values and determine what is important for them. Goals and a plan of action are determined by the client. Having a coach provides accountability and structure for discovering and meeting the life goals you want for yourself. Contracts are made for a minimum of six months. Sessions may be conducted face-to-face or by email or telephone.
■ People come to therapy for the same reason you take your car to a mechanic - something is not working the way you want it to and you either don't know why, or even if you do know, you can't figure out how to fix the problem. You want help now!
■ Ask most people if they've had therapy or counseling and you will probably get one of two responses: either it was a valuable important part of their life and they are so much happier with life now or it was a waste of time and money. There isn't much middle ground to going to therapy. And that's how it should be because when you decide it's time for outside assistance then you are committing to change.
